I wish, I had a place to go,
a place to stay, a place to be!
Whenever I just settle down,
an inner voice keeps calling me.

It's telling me to pack my bags,
get on my feet, see something new.
So every day I take a chance,
still hoping for some skies of blue.

I'm on my way all day all night
my gibsy heart will never sleep,
no matter if the mountains high
or if the oceans are too deep.

I don't have any kids or wife,
some people think, I've gone insane!
But I will travel all my life
and I will start from where I came...
